2.0 out of 5 stars Looks Like Spidey ... Don't Feel Like Spidey!, 3 May 2014
This review is from: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Limited Edition with Comic Booklet (Amazon.co.uk Exclusive) [Blu-ray] [2014] (Blu-ray)
Oh dear, how disappointing. With such a great cast ( Emma is born to be Gwen) how did Marvel/Sony end up with a lame script? Way too many plots, really bad narrative and characters just totally out of character! It was like watching two films at once - Spideys scenes were fine but Peters were just all wrong. Peter is angst ridden because he feels Spidey is like a curse sometimes NOT a violent, frustrated teen! And where did the Goblin suddenly spring from and why was Norman Osborn killed off so quickly? Nothing about this film felt like Spider-Man except the final scene with Gwen but by that time I might as well have been watching Judge Dredd!
Maybe Marvel is just letting Sony just do whatever they like until the rights come back to Marvel and they can do yet another reboot in 2020.

Are the rights due to run out?
Damn, it's long but it'll be worth the wait
I've seldom seen such a terribly made film.

Does anybody understand the meaning of product review? This is not IMDB where you post your thoughts on the film. This is to review the product, in this case the blu ray which hasn't been released yet.

Be still your beating heart, Mark. Clearly Amazon allows this and has done for a long time -- presumably because it is a useful sales tool building up to the release of the DVD/Blu, which allows more 'product' to be sold. Everyone wins, my friend.
