French Kiss by Sarra Manning,
This review is from: Diary of a Crush 1: French Kiss (Paperback)
Aw! I loved this book and thought it was great and funny. You might remember that this was originally a 'Diary of A Crush' column in J17 but the book series is better. It's the diary of 16-year-old Edie, who's just started at sixth form college in her new home in Manchester. She instantly falls in love with Dylan, the weird, scruffy 'art boy' on her Photography course. Of course, she's terrified of talking to him, and his supercool friend Shona totally intimidates her as well. And why is bitchy Mia setting out to be so nasty to Edie? This book was very good. If you're the type of person who needs books to be serious, you'll hate this and Edie's obsession with fashion, but if you like teenage diaries then this is probably for you.
