It was worth it after all,

This review is from: Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (PS2) (Video Game)
From the minute you start playing this game, you'll be hooked quite literally! This latest instalment is by far the best in the series. The graphics are brilliant with superb 3D gameplay and use of backgrounds. There are loads of special characters to unlock and the range of things to do will keep you going for hours on end, such as the Konquest mode and trying to buy good stuff in the Krypt.
Each character has 3 styles of fighting, one including a weapon, which allow you to practice again and again to perfect each character. There are lots to discover and sound and visual appeal is great.
Only one thing; where did the fatalities go? Normally, each would have 2 fatalities at their disposal. But although they are far from disappointing in Deadly Alliance, you can't help but notice the loss in each character not having more than one, especially with the pit fatalities also eradicated. Also, fluency is not as established as it was previously, which means fighting is occasionally quite slow.
However I don't think this takes a great deal away from the fact that this games shines and is well worth the wait. Die hard fans will love it as well as those who are just trying it for the first time (you've been missing out!).
This game has guts, gore and brutality. The hype for this game, this time, is proved right.
