Geemarc Wake N Shake - superb alarm clock,
This review is from: Geemarc Wake 'n' Shake Very Loud Jumbo Alarm Clock with vibrating shaker pad- UK Version (Kitchen & Home)
I have had this for several years now. It's very ugly in appearance but does its job - I have never slept through it despite being severly deaf in both ears (70 decibel hearing loss) and having bad tinnitus as well.
I have found that occasionally settings get knocked and you have to look up the manual to get them back in place. Unfortunately this has happened again just the other day and no matter what I do the alarm does not want to go off. However the alarm has done such a good job over the years that I will be purchasing another. I would certainly recommend it for its purpose. I never used the shaker or the phone with it but I am happy with the functions I have used.
The only thing I will say is that even with the dimmer on the numbers are so bright that they light up the whole room in the dark and I generally put something such as a soft toy in front of it as otherwise I can't sleep because of this. Light sleepers or people with initial insomnia might want to consider putting a box on top of it for this reason - such items can easily be lifted off it if you wake up through the night.
