This review is from: Pure Move 2500 Rechargeable Personal Digital DAB/FM Radio - Black (Electronics)
Purchased to replace a Clarity Cube Personal DAB Radio that died prematurely.
Used mainly whilst walking the dogs or doing tasks outside. This is in a different league, like moving from a Transistor Radio to Hifi.
The sound quality is a lot better. The signal quality is better and it keeps signal where the old one would lose it.
Volume is more than adequate, equals my MP3 player. Bass/Treble does give some adjustment. The earphones supplied are fine, they produce a "rich" sound if a little flat for my taste Using my own Sennheiser CX300s improves matters, they seem to allow the "sound out of the box".
The controls are pretty intuitive. Battery life is good.
Happy I made the purchase.

Pure 2500 battery lasts for no more than a couple of hours if I am lucky, only bought it three weeks ago. Sending it back! Might be tempted by a replacement on the grounds that this is a one off but this one had better last at least 14 hours as specified.

Mine definitely lasts well even 2 years in. It will also hold charge if unused for a couple of weeks without problem. If you are only getting a couple of hours that seems way to short.
Have you tried "locking" the radio when not in use so that the on/off button isn't being switched on by accident when in a bag or pocket?
I also have a Pure Move rechargeable radio that is 1 year older with a "40 hour" life which is also still going strong.
