Cannot be un-recommended enough!,
This review is from: The Barry Newbery Signature Collection: Doctor Who Photographs from the Collection of Barry Newbery (Paperback)
As mentioned by another reviewer the size of the book is small - you can buy postacrds larger than these pages!
I have always been a fan of the design work of Barry Newbery and was looking forward to what additional insights this book had to offer. In short - none.
The text (what little there is) and most (if not all) of the pictures have been taken from old interviews in the Frame magazine.
The book is divided into story by story sections with one glaring omission which is ANY reference to the Season 14 police box or console room.
This book is nothing more than an exercise in how much money can be bleed from consumers by attaching the name Doctor Who and repackaging old information.
If there is anyone desperate to see the contents and doesn't want to waste the over inflated amount being charged, go onto e-bay and buy second hand copies of the relevant issues of the Frame. Not only will you get the same information but no further monies will be going into the pockets of the rip off merchants behind this book.
I look forward to future releases under this 'signature' heading with total anticipointment.
