3.0 out of 5 stars I really want to give this TV 5 stars!, 14 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Panasonic TX-L32E6B 32-inch Full HD 1080p Smart LED TV with Built in Wi-Fi and Freeview HD (Electronics)
Lovely looking TV - really solid, well built. I'm glad I bought it... but it's let down by lack of apps and a some odd interface issues.

Pros:
Great looking TV... clean lines, understated. Gorgeous.
Big, bright picture.
Internet enabled...

Cons:
Very limited app store - no 4OD, no ITV Player... so essentially what I have bought is a TV with a web browser (slow - but occasionally useful), YouTube player and BBC iPlayer. It's quicker to wait for an hourly weather bulletin than to try and use some of the weather apps - which seem to be very much tailored for the USA.
Some tricky interface issues eg: Family members keep accidentally switching it to 'analogue' and then wondering why there are no channels (hit TV twice and this is what happens).
The picture is sharp... but feels to me to be somehow too sharp. Either that or its Freeview decompression isn't very good... I can't quite work out which it is!

YES but it's a TV is the picture good ?

All very well having a load of apps you might use "once".
But you watch the screen every day and is it a good picture?

For 99% of buyers the one thing that matters is picture quality everything else is a gimmick and after 2-3 weeks will never be used again.
As 99% will have a set top box which has all the app feature and more !

You need to turn off all the processing for Freeview and reduce the sharpness etc.
