A fun slant on being babysat,
This review is from: How to Babysit a Grandad (Paperback)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a very colourful and child friendly book about babysitting from a child's point of view as the babysitter of grandad. This book is told from a little boy's point of view but would be relatable for most children. All through the book the story of events of one day with grandad are told written in black. In blue are suggestions of things you as a child should do. I loved these as they were things a child could do e.g. eat a little junk food, hide, splash in puddles on a walk, tickle, march playing your drum, draw a picture. There were bits where the child played alone while grandpa napped and bits playing together throughout the day with a lovely section on how to say goodbye at the end.
This is a lovely book and if you have a child who loves their grandad I'm sure this book would be a lovely read for them together.
