Very satisfactory laminator,
This review is from: Texet A4 Laminator (Office Product)
Having decided to buy an A4 laminator I looked at Cathedral and Swordfish on Amazon. Both had mixed reviews. I decided to look further afield and discovered that though the Texet had only one Amazon review it had numerous favourable reviews elsewhere. Seeing it in a sale I took the plunge and have been pleased with the results - very smooth with no creases. The laminator takes about four minutes to warm up and about a minute to laminate an A4 sheet, and is very quiet in operation. The instructions state that it takes 3-4 hours to cool down after use, but in practice it is no more than lukewarm after 20 minutes or so.
The one thing that might deter some potential purchasers is that the maximum pouch thickness that can be used is 160 microns, compared to the 250 microns of the Cathedral and Swordfish machines. However, 150 micron pouches seem to be much more common than 250 and are very much cheaper. The 150 micron pouches are perfectly satisfactory for personal/home office use.

Thanks for pointing out the pouch thickness limitation. I will make sure I buy the correct ones.
