Exactly what I'd hoped,
This review is from: Zumba 2 Fitness Wii - Bundle Pack with Belt accessory (Video Game)
I got this game hoping that it would be a reasonable substitute for going to actual zumba classes, which I used to go to but found too expensive to continue long term at £5 a pop.
I played the game for the first time yesterday and did a 45 minute class, and found that the steps were all very familiar from the classes I used to go to and the whole experience felt very similar to a real class. It was fun, motivating, and it really got my heart rate up and got me sweating - and I'm reasonably fit anyway.
I think it will be a good game to play regularly - I like that there are options for 20 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute workouts depending on how much time you have, and by completing different elements you can 'unlock' various rewards. The progress tracker is really good too, telling you how long you played the game for each day/week/month, and how many calories burned. Obviously this is an estimate, but it looked fairly accurate to me - telling me 345 calories for a 45 minute workout. Given that Zumba normally claims to burn 500-1000 calories an hour, that doesn't sound unreasonable to me.
Overall I'd say this is a great game, really good as a substitute for going to the real thing, and plenty of fun. Somebody new to Zumba may find the steps tricky to follow at first, but this is no different to going to an actual class - just keep at it and you'll pick it up!
