The little camera was easy to set up and produced video which was acceptable for a camera of this price. But...... when I initially fitted the camera, the bracket appeared quite flimsy and wouldn't tighten properly to lock the camera in place. On the second attempt to tighten the bracket, the tightener kept jumping off the threads, thus it was impossible to secure the camera. Why the manufacturer would use such an inferior cheap bracket for a nice little camera is beyond me. I'm an engineer, if I'd have passed that bracket as fit for use, I'd have been relegated to making the tea.
I've noticed that all their products appear to use the self same bracket, so I will probably buy another brand. I've returned the device and am waiting for my refund.
Update: as always, Amazon's return systems were superb. I only buy Amazon products and they are the only on-line shopping I trust.

Would PTFE tape make any difference in helping it 'grip'? Just an electronics technicians thought.......

I had the same thought and it may well work, but the threads were just too loose to risk it on my one so I opted for the more expensive HP version. It's bracket has proved more robust, plus being twice the price it's camera is capable of a higher resolution.
Best of Luck
