This review is from: Nespresso Essenza Manual by Magimix M100 - Just Grey (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Kitchen & Home)
This coffee machine produces the same cup of coffee as the other machines it just does not have the frills. I find the coffee not quite warm enough so rinse the cup out with a small amount of boiling water first. Good entry level machine to see how you will get along with the system.

M. Cooper says:
To be fair, the instruction manual tells you to run hot water through to fill an espresso cup before brewing. This has the effect of cleaning the pipes and preheating the cup before you make your coffee (I also do it afterwards, to flush through any residue). Same as with food: if you put anything straight into a cold cup, it will lose some of its heat.

Mr Gumby says:
Yes, I agree with MC - with any espresso machine, capsule or otherwise, it's best to run hot water into the cup before you start, to warm the machine as well as the cup and also clean the pipes/filters.
