This review is from: Emergency Ultrasound Made Easy (Paperback)
When you buy any book with a title "... made easy", you should have an idea of what you're going to get. Well this book will give you a whirlwind tour of what you, as a non-radiologist, can do with an ultrasound machine for emergency care. It's directed at Emergency Physicians but bits of it may be of interest to anaesthetists or critical care physicians. I think the book has served its aim to give an overview of the various applications for emergency ultrasound. It doesn't cover any area in sufficient depth, which probably cannot be achieved unless you attend a practical course or acquire the skills through experience. This book probably predates the growing number of courses and websites dedicated to FATE and FAST and I do wonder whether it is as relevant today as when it was first conceived. I've read it from cover to cover and it's time to pass it on.
