An excellent book about the human condition.,
This review is from: The Naked Ape: A Zoologist's Study of the Human Animal (Paperback)
A truly enlightening account of the human condition. Using a scientific approach, refering to Darwinian theory, Desmond Morris explains many of the physiological and phsychological characteristics of human beings. This book seems to hit the nail on the head and although written over 30 years ago, still makes perfect sense.

As an Aspergers syndrome teenager, way back in the 60's, I found this book was the best and clearest way of learning about the inexplicable, puzzling minefield of puberty and all the hormonal moods that hit without warning or reason. It's no good talking 'birds and bees' stuff to autistic spectrum youngsters, they need clear scientific facts, and that's what Morris uses.
