These shoes fit great, and feel snug like slippers. Super light, so running feels much easier, and the sole is sturdy enough to run on gravel/rocky trails without any nasty pain in the feet.
However, if you're not used to barefoot/minimalist running shoes, I'd advise caution and a very gradual transition. I switched to these shoes and started with short 1-2 mile runs daily, with a longer 5k run at weekends. After a few weeks I developed a stress-fracture in the metatarsals of my left foot, and had to rest it for a few weeks.
Now I've gone back to a traditional running shoe for most runs, and just use these for a short run a couple of times a week, which I will build up gradually.
Take it slow, and stop at the first sign of any pain.
Great shoe though!
