5.0 out of 5 stars A gorgeous book!, 15 Sept. 2012

This review is from: The Chronicles of Downton Abbey (Official Series 3 TV tie-in) (Hardcover)
Another lovely book from Jessica Fellowes following the story of Downton Abbey. The photos are beautiful, the insights to the changing times of the early 1920's are well written and add to the characters portrayal we see on television. It's not deep, it's not a great mystery or thriller, it's just a great read if you are a fan of Downton. This is available as a Kindle edition as well, but the photos are such an important part of the book I think the real book is more useful.

I flicked throught it a few days ago. It's not a completely new book, is it? It's the other book, just updated with info from the first one...can you clarify?

Hello - it's the author here, Jessica Fellowes, and I can assure you it's a completely new book! I wrote every word fresh. We've worked hard to ensure that we've looked at all the characters from a different angle; the history is of a different period to the first book (1920-1922) and the photographs are all from the third series. Hope you enjoy! JF

Thanks, Jessica, you've been most helpful, I must say.
