This order was a mistake, there was no faulting the service of the seller but I undertand now why this was so cheap.
First of all, there are no in-ear buds, they are too thick to fit in a position in which they might at least muffle ambient noise, and too thin to remain fixed in one's ears until they're no longer needed.
As a result, the slightest head movement will drop them, without fail.
As a result of this, all ambient noise rushes in, and presumably everything going through them is channeled straight out.
Suffice to say, if you are on a train or an airplane and can hear someone else's MP3 player/iPod from a nearby seat- they are probably using a pair of earphones like these and have turned their device right up to compensate for the engines. Should you be that person, there's a good chance you'll be subject to angry stares or worse from other passengers.
If you're in the middle of nowhere with no ambient noise, these are okay, but in any urban environment what you get out of them is not worth the risks of using them.
