OK FOR COMPANY,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Munsters - Closed Casket Complete Collection [DVD] (DVD)
I Just buy DVDs To listen to while i am cleaning or somthing. Dont have a TV Licence. Very Good DVDs dont like black and white however. I thought there would have been colour edited into them, but never mind i bearly look at the screen anyway. Other than that i have no problems with them.

Is this a joke...? Or are you on release from a high security unit ?
I've read some idiotic "reviews" on Amazon over the years but this one is the Oscar winner. As Bugs Bunny would say "What a maroon !"

Yes, I like what you've said there. If not idiotic, it was an extremely odd review wasn't it?

In spring, 1966, The Munsters was knocked off by Batman (colour), and The Addams Family by Hogan's Heroes (colour). That autumn the primetime lineup in the states all switched to colour to keep competitive.

Assuming this review was genuine, you don't need a TV Licence to own a TV. You only need it to watch live broadcasts (TV as it's being shown from the BBC, ITV, SKY etc). XBOX, iPlayer, DVDs, Catch-up in any form are all perfectly legal. Don't let the BBC convince you otherwise. Detector Vans are purely there to scare you, the few of them there are contain no more technology than a sat-nav and notebook. They cannot detect that you're watching TV. Hence why not one conviction has ever occurred from evidence obtained from a Detector Van.
