Very useful for my Master thesis,
This review is from: Global Education Inc.: New Policy Networks and the Neoliberal Imaginary (Paperback)
A very useful book for anyone who wants to know more about how education policy is being shaped by policy networks, policy entrepreneurs and education businesses around the world. The book does not claim to be comprehensive (it would be impossible to completely map the subjects of the book) but uses a series of examples to show the connections between actors involved in education policy around the world. Ball uses the shift to governance to show how neoliberalism is being "done" in terms of education policy, convincingly arguing that a nationally-focused approach to education policy analysis is no longer appropriate. Apart from the content, the book is very readable and clearly structured. Highly recommended.
