This review is from: Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 inch Tablet - White (16GB, WiFi, Android 4.0) (Personal Computers)
Beware - if this goes wrong (as ours did) you are NOT covered by the Samsung UK guarantee as it is not a European sourced product. We are currently arguing the case with Amazon but getting nowhere. A dead tablet after 4 months and no warranty is not funny :(

If you paid by credit card you are covered, so if you did, contact your credit card company and advise them that you want to make a claim under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. It's always best to pay by credit card if the goods you are buying are over £100 as this gives you extra protection. The good thing is that you don't even have to pay the whole amount on your credit card to get the protection, you can pay as little as £5.00 as long as the contract price is over £100. Hope this helps for the future.

Once we had proof from Samsung that it was an import and should not have been sold in the UK we did get a full refund.
Please note that this applies to the one we received which was supplied by Amazon Marketplace, not direct from Amazon. After other problems with Marketplace items we are now VERY careful to only order from Amazon directly. If it shows as Marketplace we will shop elsewhere.

So your 1 star is based on the seller and an imported tab 2 and that is very unfair for the samsung tab 2 because you got a dodgy one from a dodgy marketplace seller and not amazon, Reviews are for the product not sellers and you have said nothing about the tab 2. If you bought it from amazon direct you would have no problem getting a refund.

The review was regarding this particular item on Amazon which is a market place retailer, not a review of every Galaxy Tab on Amazon, please check where you are in Amazon before making such sweeping coments. If it had been a UK spec one (ie a different item) there would have been a positive review as we do now have a UK spec version. This particular item makes no mention of not being a UK spec Tab.
We DID buy it through Amazon and were badly let down by their reseller. It is a shame that Amazon do not always have as much control of their marketplace as one would desire.
