working class heroes!,
This review is from: The Beatles In Mono (Audio CD)
Like many people I wasn't sure what to buy or even if the relatively hefty price tag was really worth it. I've been dipping into each mono album in the last few hours and it is absolutely worth every penny. The songs have a new lease of life - fresh, exciting and quite awesome. I agree with most of the reviewers about the packaging. It is gorgeous and clearly put together with a great deal of tlc.
Yes it's expensive but unless you have pristine vinyl from the 1960's this really is one of the great documents of pop music. In the era of downloads it's really refreshing to actually own a physical object that contains so much great music. This is what credit cards were made for.

You title it working class heroes and in your first sentence acknowledge the hefty price tag... ironic! shame Apple/EMI couldn't see how this music in this form (as many have stated is "the only way to hear the beatles") won't reach the masses.
