Philips Fixie On Ear Headphones,
This review is from: Philips SHL5305BK Fixie On Ear Stereo Headphones with Mic - Black (Accessory)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Possibly the worst thing about these headphones is the name. Fixie? Also they are not Bluetooth, they are wired. Having said that, the two most important aspects of headphones are comfort and sound quality. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound; good rich bass. But most of my listening is to classical music, which can be really demanding, and there is no doubt these don't have the subtlety at high frequencies that my old Pioneers had. But they were more expensive.
I found the Philips earpieces a bit small and tight for my ears. They do exclude a fair bit of external noise but these are not noise-cancelling phones. Also I found the lead far too short; I like to plug headphones into my hifi amplifier and sit at a distance; these are obviously designed for things like ipods and mobile phones. I didn't use the microphone so can't comment on that.
But for the price I think the sound quality is good, and they will do the job for non-critical listening.
