Warning-this box contains advanced garage,

Pity the new collector who wonders how to buy Garage.
The obvious way is to start slowly with the Nuggets collections and think how lucky they are that they're spoilt for choice with all these boxes.
Boxes with names taken from the generic word ROCK like Pebbles,Rubbles,Nuggets,Boulders,Rough Diamonds,Digging For Gold,Hearts of Stone and a recent one Gravel.Geddit?
The 60s was a time when many words were given opposite meanings thus Bad meant Good,Wicked meant Brilliant and Trash meant Incredible and the word was first used this way in the song Sugar Shack from 1963
On this one are a few hits amongst a heap of musical failure. So it depends whether you want the hits or the flops but remember they are only flops because the radio stations didn't bite.As well as the fact that even the hitmakers began with stuff no one queued up for.Such as The Choir who became the Raspeberries.
You have to know something about garage and psyche before ploughing in-especially as there's no route map enclosed- then you'll know that Positively 13 o'Clock were really connected to Mouse & the Traps.Never heard of them? That's probably because they only bubbled under for a week with A Public Execution (which is not a death disc but relates to a Bob Dylan quote in which he likened his critics to sentencing him to death).
But its not hard nowadays to find info-you just go on Wikipedia
Here is some pretty impressive musical failure-one of these groups came 2nd in a Battle of the Bands and there were only 2 of them in it!!!Yes they were 5 years ahead of their time there
