This review is from: Steganos Password Manager Version 14 (PC) (CD-ROM)
Steganos Password Manager 14 offers all the features that were on my wishlist. It has a very clean user interface, is very easy to use, has a desktop widget, Dropbox syncing and an Iphone application.
Back that up with full 256 bit encryption, a password generator/strength checker and an inbuilt portable usb version, and it's about as fully featured as you could want.
Once opened, the main window can be minimized to the task bar, leaving behind a tiny desktop widget which can be used to select, drag and drop your various log on details into web accounts. The widget also includes a website quick launch button to guarantee that you are re-visiting the correct website. Some web pages disable drag and drop, but Steganos backs up this feature with a copy/paste function from within the main window, which can in turn be handily raised from the widget.
The manager supports multiple keychains, so an individual can split their passwords into groups within a single keychain, or completely separate keychains. Though I think the main purpose is to allow family users to secure their passwords into their own personal keychain.
Dropbox keychain exporting can be enabled, to either provide a convenient backup method, or to automatically update your smart phone copy of your keychain.
Within the manager, there are several pre-defined forms for bank cards and online banking etc, and although you cannot edit the input boxes, there is a free-text comments area.
The final nice features of the manager are that it adds a toolbar to either Firefox or Internet Explorer (can not get it to work in Google Chrome) which put all the password features directly into your browser window, plus add the automatic form filling capability and allow you to import any website urls you select into an area of your keychain, so that these website addresses are available in an independent list from within the manager while it is open, and encrypt once you close your keychain at the end of the day.
All told, a great password manager.
