This review is from: Nizoral Anti Dandruff Shampoo 60ml (Personal Care)
I've suffered from an itchy and flaky scalp for as long as I can remember. I have tried everything: Head and Shoulders, Polytar, T-gel, Selsun, as well as more everyday anti dandruff shampoos from the chemist shop.
None of them really worked. Selsun worked well but the smell was almost worse than the actual problem, it would take days to go away and I was paranoid that anyone within a 2 metre radius of me could also smell it.
Over the summer the scalp problem seemed to get worse, and spread to my eyebrows and ears which were becoming red raw and not very nice. So I thought I would give this a try based on the good reviews. And it worked! It doesn't smell and got rid of the problem. I now use it about every two weeks to keep my condition at bay.
The only downside is the price - the bottle is tiny. I find that if you shampoo your hair first with a cheaper shampoo it gets your hair all clean so you only need a smaller amount of Nizoral. It doesn't froth up very well to get it all over your scalp, and even with shampooing first I probably use about a teaspoon of Nizoral, so this bottle probably lasts about 10-15 washes. But as it works for me it's worth every penny.
So if you suffer from an itchy scalp then this is definitely worth a go.
