This review is from: Stirred with Love (Kindle Edition)Predictable and bearable as a quick read but nothing more. For a start the author repeatedly confuses the words 'bought' and 'brought' which is really grating and a stupidly basic error. Apparently a character 'brought her house' which seems unnecessary for a short journey while another 'bought the subject up again' - really? I also find the repeated use of 'being as' to be lazy and like listening to a bored chav - 'seeing as'is a fair enough wording to use but at one point there were three or four sentences starting 'being as she was' and 'being as it was' close together. It all reads very poorly and the characters are quite shallow in development, you only learn what is essential to the very predictable and unremarkable plot. What you think will happen when you start reading DOES happen, every single cliche is right there at every turn. I don't think that's a problem if it's the sort of read you want and for 99p I'm not surprised, but combined with the basic misuse of words and phrasing this book became a chore to read. I skimmed the last few chapters, gathered that it really was a neatly packaged dot to dot story and gave up.
