Very good, but not without its faults,

This review is from: The Dark Knight Trilogy (Blu-ray + UV Copy) [Region Free] (Blu-ray)
I think it's easy to get wrapped up in the hype and excitement that comes with Christopher Nolan films, and its justified with this trilogy, which for the first time have given the Batman franchise a depth and darkness it has been lacking on film. I have been each film several times and Begins is still the best IMO.
As this review is premature as the set isn't actually out yet, I can comment on the quality of the BR releases of BB and DK, both of which are pretty good. The featurettes are okay, but do lack the detail on the technical side of things. The picture is just incredible and I applaud Warner for keeping the IMAX aspect ratio for the sequences shot in the format and I hope they keep this on Dark Knight Rises. The box set it seems is just the already released sets with nothing new to add. I heard about a limited edition in Q3 of 2013; I'm not fussed. This collection will look great on the shelf.

I was wondering if you could answer a question?

When you preorder with Amazon, they don't charge your card until the item is ready for dispatch - as long as you have the funds in your account on (usually a day or 2 before) then you should receive this on the day of release (if you select first class)
