Use SD cards in your D300,

This review is from: GMYLE(TM) High Speed SD/SDHC/SDXC to CompactFlash CF Type II Card Adapter Support UDMA (Electronics)
Among my various gadgets only my Nikon D300 still uses CF cards, so I ordered the High Speed SD to CF adaptor so that I could use the cheaper, widely available SD cards in the camera rather than trade the body for a new one. Very pleased to say that it all appears to work perfectly well - I've been using an Integral SDHC Class 10 16GB card in the Nikon via the adaptor without any problems, possibly a slight delay writing to the SD card if you blast away with a dozen or so shots, but for my needs (landscapes, nature, night sky) it's perfectly fine and I doubt I'll ever need to buy another CF card.
Added benefit that I can now download the images straight to my laptop from the card rather than with a cable from the Nikon, it being some time since I had a computer with a CF input.
The product is well engineered, good value, and fits no problem into a standard CF slot.
