lots of sex,
This review is from: Incubus Dreams: Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter: Volume 12 (Paperback)
As a fan of this series i found that this particular venture did lack a decent plot line, but on the plus side there was lots of sex and violence as Anita trails a serial killer that is preying on strippers. That is the plot in a nutshell, there are still a few references to the sub-plots like her 'up and down' relation ships and her P.D. involvements. Over all was i gripped? Well no not really, but i still think that this has a place within a well run series. Laurel is not as long winded with this book either as was with some of her previous works where she appeared to be turning into a female version of 'Steven King'. Parts of this book were reminisent of Lucifer Wars by stuart vowell but nothing like as bloodthirsty. A little more attention to the plot with the same level of bloosdshed would take the series to new heights.
