Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I have a previous Fellowes laptop lift which probably only raises the keyboard up to an angle of about 30 degrees (not that I've actually got a protractor and measured it) but this model provides a much steeper angle of adjustment. I'm typing away using it now and because I'm not really used to it I am finding that my forearms are getting rather fatigued, as are my shoulders and I'm a properly trained touch typist, so I'm aware of such things. My main beef is that it's moulded plastic and totally nonadjustable, which isn't a great selling point in my opinion. Also, for the price it's a bit of a one-trick pony.
I'm not really sure whether I'll be using it for long typing jobs, sticking to my other Fellowes riser, however for viewing TV programmes on my laptop I'm sure it will be invaluable.
*Update* - after using this system for a week now I've added an additional star to my original review because I've really got used to it and am appreciating its unique qualities. The angle it tilts to really does seem to combat hand and wrist fatigue.
