I have only ever bought genuine Epson cartridges but I had a newsletter run to do and faced with a £50 bill for toner alone bit the bullet and bought these 'look alike' cartridges. Half expecting the printer to explode, I loaded the first one and it was all right, the second one came up with an error message, but fighting down the panic, I took it out and re-inserted it firmly, and it worked. The number of prints seems are as good as the real article and I've saved 75% so I have to give this transaction 5 stars.
Will I buy compatibles again? I don't know, it's oh so tempting, but . . . it's a bit like flying Ryan Air - they're cheap but do I need that amount of hassle.
