Worthless 'Freddie the Fish',

This review is from: Air Swimmer Clown Fish (Toy)
Worthless in every sense! Takes an age to assemble, the batteries were dead, the fins do not stick on and the instructions misleading.... Left overnight and returned to a fish that floats without any of its assembled parts on... Also, it will cost you another £30 to get some helium to fill the fish with, the party shop wanted £5 initially.
'Freddie the fish' is no more......

Some sellers are not selling the real product under the name of 'airswimmer'. There are a number of sellers who are actualy selling a cheap knock-off versions of the real thing. I had the same issue and went and bought a real one as a replacment it took minutes to assemble and worked brilliantly. The main tell tale sign was the lack of manufacturer information on the box (ours simply said 'made in china') this is obviously a fake as any reputable company would want feed back, good and bad. These guys clearly know what they are selling and dont care. You are right about the hellium but i guess that is to be accepted. My advice would be to return a 'fake' one and get your money back! Maybe then the Sellers will think twice before passing on dodgey copies through internet sales in order to make a fast buck.

Good point. How can we be sure of buying a genuine one? I guess the sellers can claim "Air Swimmer" is a description, not a trade mark.

thankyou for that! my daughter wanted one for her birthday, after reading your comments I would re-consider purchasing one of these in a hurry! My daughter is going to be 8 years old shortly so you have saved me money, time and what looks to be a potential disaster! phew.....
