This review is from: Stewart Essential Heated Propagator (52cm)
This required in itself a simple siting and plugging into the mains, no difficulty whatsoever.
I sowed tomatoes, capsicums and basil four days ago (Jan 5th) in a house with high ceilings, and therefore poorly heated.
I used coir plugs mounted in 40-cell seed trays as substrate and already I have seedlings germinating from there, the first came through 2 days after sowing, I raised the heated base on each corner to prevent burning the mounting surface and overheating the thermostatic mat with the natural cool air of the room, and have had no problems with it of any kind, lift the lid daily at least once and drain off the condensation formed by the electrostatic mat and it will keep the sunlight (when there's any!) coming in and for now I have to do little but watch my seeds break the surface. If you have room for this propagator by a window which receives plenty of light but can't afford hydroponics (I can't), buy it and you won't regret it, I promise you.
