THE colour book,
This review is from: Color Works: The Crafter's Guide to Color (Hardcover-spiral)
When you do any City & Guilds course you always seem to start off with the colour wheel and a friend recommended this book. I am sure there must be many other books on colour but this is so easy to read, so beautifully displayed I am not going to bother with any other purchases. At the back of the book there are the "colour tools" which help you isolate various sections on the colour wheel. Also there are a range of colours for each hue family. The book suggests you can use the sheets when you are shopping to ensure that the colours you buy are the ones you want. What a brilliant idea - but don't lose them!!! Instead of taking the book to Ally Pally last year I tore out the colours I wanted for my C & G project and lost one. Perhaps I need another copy!
