He can't even get simple facts right...,
This review is from: The Beatles: The Biography (Paperback)
I bought this book to try and plug a gap in my musical knowledge, The Beatles having generally passed me by over the years. Being English I found the Americanisms a bit annoying (ie Referring to Aintree as a 'track') but hey ho, we don't change English books that make reference to taps, bums, fags and bonnets (or maybe we do?). But after reading that Sunderland was a town in Scotland and that 'scousers' are partial to something called a 'chick butty' I began to wonder whether everything else in the book was as factually incorrect. I gave up after 5 chapters and threw the book away.
