This review is from: Reeves 8 White Nylon Brushes for Acrylic (Misc.)
I bought these brushes to use with some acrylic paints I bought at the same time. They work fantasticly, and there is a good array of shapes and sizes. I find they are very slightly harder to clean than other brushes I have had, but maybe that is because they are white? The price is excelent and I would strongly recomend them. They fall under the 'Toys' catagory on Amazon, and although I am not using them for for serious art work at the moment, I would describe them as more than a toy. I have not had them fall apart, become bent or weaked at the tips or fail absorb paint and water, so they are deffinatly more than a toy. All round a very good buy.

Hi, I am about to purchase these brushes, and saw your comment about the difficulty of cleaning them... How do you clean the brushes and is there any chemical solution you would recommend? Or are you cleaning the brushes with just water? Thank you.

Hi, I clean the brushes differently when I use different paints - often for acrylics I just use water, with some regular washing up liquid rubbed in to the brush. My advice with these brushes is to clean them as soon after using as possible, as if the paint (particularly acrylic!) dries in the bristles, and becomes very hard to remove! Hope this helps!
