Don't judge it by its cover,
This review is from: Voodoo Dancing in the Dark (Paperback)
I picked up this book simply because it was an Alan Moore story. I had a bit of familiarity with the WildC.A.T.S universe and the characters but not in particular with Voodoo. However, that doesn't matter. This is not a superhero story. It's a supernatural murder mystery about a special young woman.
The writing is not up there with the likes of V for Vendetta or The Watchmen but Mr. Moore still delivers. At a couple of places the writing is so engaging, the pacing and panelling so much more interesting than what you find in ordinary comic books that you instantly recognize it as an Alan Moore. Also the illustrations are superb. They are rich in colour and a joy to look at.
So, very much recommended.
