Canon MG 4250,
This review is from: Canon PIXMA MG4250 - multifunctionals (Inkjet, 1200 x 2400 DPI, A4, 216 x 297 mm, Colour, Colour) (Personal Computers)
I'm sure it does everything it says on the tin, but why is there no handbook? There are umpteen buttons on the top, but no clue as to what they all do. It appears to have a photocopier built in, but I can't figure out how to use it. I'm sure a teenager would do it easily, but as a 70+ year old I really would like a "book of words". Is one available online?

Many thanks, I downloaded the manual OK. But I'm not much wiser! All I want is a simple guide to what the buttons do, and how to use the printer and photocopier. An idiot's guide, if you like. I used an HP 4L which did all I wanted for about 15 years until it finally died, and I thought this one with a copier attached would be ideal (my old photocopier died at about the same time) but I am totally bewildered - I really don't need or want all the clever things it can apparently do. The manual appears to be written entirely in "webspeak" which is about as comprehensible to me as Klingon.
Thank you, though, for replying to my earlier comments, although I fear the answer - the manual that is - is stunningly unhelpful!

You are so right - I can't figure out the buttons either. Pressed everything and can, 'copy'
'scan' yes, simply print no! Can't get back to the original 'home' feature.
