These headphones have a 'self-adjusting' band that tightens firmly but comfortably over the head. It and the ear-cups are fabric-covered, immediately and nicely warm, but not hot under prolonged use. There are two transmission channels to choose so that you can avoid interference, and the 'phones have an on/off switch and a volume wheel. The base station has a charging cable to attach to the headphones: the batteries (included) need a 10-hour charge before first use and live inside the right cup, though there's no sense of unbalanced weight. When they run out, they do so suddenly - no prolonged weakening of output, just sudden drop-outs over a few seconds. (I watch movies using these, so I have a wired pair in reserve.) Recharges take a few hours and provide, I guess, about 9-12 hours' use.
The sound is clear and undistorted. Perhaps it could use a little more bass, but that's being picky. I found the signal was undiminished at the end of my yard, 40 feet and three walls away from the transmitter, and was equally good on another floor, so no problem wearing these all over the house if you want to boogie while you vacuum! My experience was that turning up the volume with the control on the headphones themselves introduced a little crackle, so I find it better to up the volume on the source device and keep it moderately low on the 'phones.
Can't think of anything else I'd want in a pair of wireless headphones. Very satisfied.
