What a Brilliant Honest read.,
This review is from: Who Cares?: One Family's Shocking Story of Care in Today's NHS (Paperback)
Best Book of this type of thing I have ever read, so well written, easy to follow,it all made sence, lots of these books about sad or tragic real life stories are around right now, mainly ones to do with children, but never have i enjoyed one as much as WHO CARES?. It's so very painful but the love in it is so amazing, the real truth is astounding, this author has let us into her every thought, and that of a man who killed himself because of the system he no longer trusted. I didn't want to finish it, but then I was eager to know, shame that we didn't find out about the outcome after he died, maybe best left unsaid. It's so shocking to think that each and every one of us could have been in the same position as Paul Steane was, but thanks to the people who have got this book to us and for those who read it, this won't happen again! It's been a long time since i have read something so near to each and everyone of us, but you can almost imagine it happening, I don't think there are many of us that would have coped like this author, so maybe we would never have found out the truth. Well done for trying to help the NHS, it was a pleasure to read. Thank you. Going to read it again now, worth every penny.
