A catalogue more than anything else.,
This review is from: Roman Sex: 100 B.C. to A.D. 250 (Hardcover)
This book is well illustrated with artworks depicting sexual acts and is accompanied by a brief text describing and discussing them but it is not a thorough survey of Roman sexual activity and attitudes through the study of texts which I would have preferred. I obviously need to fond another book for this. It is good at what it is though and if obtained cheaply enough is worth the time reading.
