Roundheads and Cavaliers: love in a time of war.,
This review is from: Transgressions: An M/M Romance (Paperback)
I think this is Erastes' best yet. The setting of the English Civil War, and the fear, treachery and tragedy which accompanied it are brilliantly depicted. So too are the relationship between the two heroes, David and Jonathan, and the way in which harsh experience changes their personalities. This is a rattling good story of two men on the opposite side of the divide between Royalists and Cromwellians. Happily, in sex, if not in life, roundheads and cavaliers can accommodate each other to perfection. Sexy as well as swashbuckling.
