great cookbook, bad condition!,
This review is from: The New Moosewood Cookbook (Mollie Katzen's Classic Cooking) (Paperback)The content of this book is wonderful, especially for meat-eaters who are cooking for vegetarians and haven't a clue about what to do.
Unfortnately, the copy I received had a large imprint on the cover, as though it got stuck under a grate for awhile. It was too late to return as it arrived on the day I'd intended to give this away as a gift. Amazon - why would you be so careless? I don't appreciate receiving second quality stuff. Don't worry about the friend; I made up for it with extra gifts.

I have had a copy of this wonderful book for over 25 years and it is beautifully illustrated with do-able recipes.
I don't understand anyone who says meat eaters don't have a clue about what to cook for their veggie friends these days. Everything is labelled. Vegetarians are not aliens.
Just read the labels and leave anything with reference to meat out.
PS Invest in a veggie only cutting board too.
