4.0 out of 5 stars A good accessory, 10 Oct 2013
This review is from: Sony Universal SmartWatch 2 SW2 with Bluetooth One Touch NFC for Smartphones with Android 4.0 - Black Metal (Electronics)
If I had felt that this would conquer the Universe I would have been disappointed. But I knew most of its limitations beforehand. It links to your phone, works well, keeps power for at least two days (I like playing with it)and generally is a good purchase at £120 which is what I paid for it (not an Amazon purchase).

Just a few niggles:
I am not sure how to remove applications from the smartwatch - you access them through a program - I have a couple that are useless
- Mail doesn't work on my phone (an S4) which did shock me
- there are two versions of GMail, one is good, the other is useless
- the vibration was really irksome after a time - reporting twitter feeds I didn't need to see so I switched it off.

On the plus side, pretty intuitive to use and does what the reviewers say it will . . apart from mail on my phone.

-To remove apps from the smartwatch just uninstall them from your phone. I got a free version of the Poweramp app to try it before shelling out for the Pro version and eneded up installing the Pro pretty much instantly. I just uninstalled the other whilst in the Play Market (could have been done from phone) and it disappeared from the watch :)
-There is an app you can use for mail that does work (even people with Sony phones have said the mail app doesn't work lol) - Mail notification Pro. I think it's a paid app (there is a free version but I don't know it's limits) but it works well and can sync muliple email accounts.
-I do find the twitter notification vibrate a little annoying. They should give the option in each app to have vibrate or not.

I tried going into the settings, but I couldn't find the relevant programs on my phone to delete them :( I will have another go!

I'm not sure how the menu layout is for your S4 but on my Note 3 its - Phone Settings, General, Application Manager - Email smart extension

If you struggle there you can go into the Play Store, My apps, scroll to the relevant watch app, select and Uninstall.

Thanks. I couldn't find that extension listed but will have another hunt!

I did find it and it worked. I did manage to pay for the mail programme and it worked a treat with my work e-mail.
