Good quality at a low price,

This review is from: 1home Cantilever Glass TV Stand with Bracket for 32 to 52 inches Plasma LCD TV Silver Tube
I bought this for my 42" Panasonic plasma.
Set-up was easy and the stand feels sturdy enough. It isn't the best looking thing in the world but I was willing to compromise for the price and people have told me it looks quite cool. Somehow furniture like this tends to be quite expensive, so about £60 seemed compratively reasonable.
Couple of problems though.
I'm willing to concede I should have paid more attention to the manufacturer's measurements but the shelves are just too shallow (space from front to back) for a lot of my stuff. In particular, my PS3 slim and original Xbox 360 are too big and have been difficult to sit on the shelves. These are not uncommon devices, so it is slightly disappointing that they aren't better accommodated. They just about fit on, thankfully, or I'd have had to deal with the hassle of returning the unit.
The other is that the bracket attachment gets in the way of a couple of ports on the TV - especially when the safety bar is used. It's not an enormous problem for me as all the sockets I need are unaffected and this is as much down to the TV's design as the bracket's.
The cable management also isn't the best and leads going in and out of the TV are just left dangling down the back. I've tied them all up as best I can myself and hidden them behind the central column. I think some better solution could have been provided on the unit itself.
Still, for the price I paid I'm perfectly happy and these are more shortcomings and compromises than serious problems. I'm not delighted but I think I'd still recommend this to someone looking for a cheap but sturdy stand
