Amazing book, fascinating and worth every penny,
This review is from: Man and His Symbols (Arkana) (Paperback)
This book was recommended to me by my art studio tutor, whilst I wasn't sure on it from its cover or the size of it (being dyslexic sometimes means I find large books a bit intimidating) I decided to give it a go and try to read it. I am so glad that I did!!! This book offers an excellent array of topics and is split into chapters that can be read as and when you feel like it. There are plenty of images to help you relate the content to the practical side of things too. It is well written and offers an interesting viewpoint of several authors. Not as heavy going as many books on these topics, which makes it much more accessible, which I feel is an interesting parallel considering the topic of the book.
I would thoroughly recommend this book, in presentation, style, content, idea and everything else. It is a great tool for reference and offers really useful insights into the world of Jung and therapeutic thinking processes. Buy it! I will certainly continue to reference from it throughout my career as an art therapist!
