It is very handy to be able to have an instant translation of a French word whilst I am reading a French novel on my Kindle. However, I often find that this dictionary fails to deliver. My criticisms are:
1) It does not recognise older French words that appear in classic French novels such as Germinal etc. This is particularly frustrating because most of the Kindle catalogue in French is classic in nature and full of such words
2) It is baffled by reflexive verbs.
3) It is equally baffled by apostrophes.

They might have fixed it now - mine does not seem to be baffled by apostrophes.
