This review is from: Adolf Hitler (Paperback)
Adolf by John Toland was one of the worst books that I have ever read. The books demeanor wrecks at the brain like a small child's screams. Reading this book was like being hit in the head with a baseball bat. To all the readers out there interested in reading this book, Be warned. Several hours of terrible reading will occupy your evening.

A. Macrae says:
Yoy were probably hit on the head prior to reading these books. The joined up letters and no picture would have been dissapointing.

i agree with Macrae, the reader shouldnt have read his way through over a thousand pages of narrative if he found it as objectionable as he states. I would suggest that to read such a book by such a revered and respected author takes a degree of objective openess of thought, not might i add demonstrated in my opinion by this individual.

You can't absorb anything of worth, if you don't have an open mind, and yours is obviously closed !
BTW, it would take you more than "Several hours of terrible reading" and certainly not be read in an evening..... if you do the book any justice !
Its a great read....
