Converts PDF files reasonably well,

I've got this software because I have some paper forms that were scanned in as PDF files and was waiting for something like this that converts the PDF's to a format I could actually tinker with. This does just that. After installing the software (which was very straight forward) and opening the software I was initially a bit puzzled to how this would actually work because when trying to open PDF files to convert, they wouldn't show up in the list of files available. Be aware that the default location when opening to look for files is MY DOCUMENTS folder, then whatever your folder is called. Practically none of my files are in this folder and are actually under the C:\ drive.
The easiest way I found of converting files is actually not to open the application. Just go to the file you want to convert, select right mouse click and select the type of Microsoft application you'd like your PDF file converted to. It's pretty quick and you can select to convert your files to; Microsoft Word as a document or a form (which was really handy for me), Excel files, Powerpoint presentations. There were more options but I haven't yet used them. Be aware again that when you convert files in this manner, the converted file will be under the MY DOCUMENTS folder and not your C:\ drive location. So if you had a file in C:\Download folder, the converted file will end up in MY DOCUMENTS\Download folder. It's silly and it's the first thing I'd change in the settings menu. it would have been much better if the file just appeared in the same folder as the original PDF but anyway. Handy application
