This review is from: A Patchwork of Poison (The Quilt Detective) (Kindle Edition)I really enjoyed this book and was enthralled by the seamless ease with which the author worked the story of the past with that of the present.
The quilting references and how these bit by bit joined to form the plot was so well planned and researched that they formed an original work enticing in it's imagery.
I was amused by the fact that the Goth girl who drew urban noir was essentially full of good intent whilst the Victorian lady who painted flowers and made the above mentioned quilt was a duplicitous madame harbouring murderous intent. Terrific!
